PEOPLE ARE DESPARATELY NEED HERE.  WE CAN DO SO MUCH.

Well my dear friend Khalid phoned me to invite me to a wedding in Hebron.  I had to refuse because I have so many things to do here.

I promised I will visit them on Friday.

I am going to visit one of your students later today, a film maker and journalist from Balata.  I cannot wait to see him again.

On my way through Hawarra checkpoint,a soldier pulled me aside and asked why I was going to Nablus.  I told him I had friends there,he offered me his gun and said I would need it from the terrorists who lived there.  RUBBISH I SCREAMED AT HIM.   I asked him who the terrorist really was.  All I saw was Palestinians in a holding pen where they are made to sit for hours on end in the blistering sun until the soldiers get fed up with them and let them go.

When I looked at him I saw a real terrorist with a gun, a uniform and operating one of the most disgusting sites I have ever seen.  The Checkpoint.

I visited earlier today friends of mine who put Internationals up who worked with ISM.  They are some of the bravest Palestinians I know and think the world off them.  I love just meeting with the ordinary Palestinians and you do not get more ordinary than what we do here.

A famous person from Nablus is coming out of Jail today and there are many celebrations. I am just going to one of them now.

I am sure everyone now has heard of the demonstrations against the wall in Billin. Well I have been told Nillin is now having demonstrations 3 or 4 times a week.

I have been asked to go onTuesday.   I am slightly apprehensive because I have been told that Billin is just a warm up compared to Nillin.

So not looking too forward to that.
