We currently fund 8 students all living in the Refugee Camps of Palestine. We pay all their University fees, their books and expenses from the Campaign.

5 years ago we met a young girl called Hiba from Aida Refugee Camp. She explained it was her dream to be a nurse, but would remain a dream, as she lived in a Refugee Camp and her parents could not work.hiba

We came back home to Scotland and decided to fund her through University. This is how the Campaign was formed. She started her training at Bethlehem University and with a great thank you to everyone who has purchased or donated to the Campaign -

SHE GRADUATED ON THE SAME DAY AS OUR FUNDRAISING CONCERT BY THE WAKES.

WELL DONE TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED PUT HER THROUGH UNIVERSITY. SHE IS NOW WORKING IN BETHLEHEM IN CHARGE OF A CHILDRENS WARD. See her e mail below. Only another 7 students to go

Why not visit our online shop or donate here

During our regular trips to Palestine, we buy only local items for our stall, thus making a contribution to the Palestinian economy.  All the money raised in re-selling these items back in Glasgow, and here at our site, goes towards funding our various projects, thus, completing our 'cycle of assistance'.  Our wide array of products and gifts include keffias, t-shirts, football strips, wristbands, keyrings, Palestinian flags, scarves, olive oil, soap and books . We also have a stimulating range of photographs for viewing, as well as free literature
